RSSSF Denmark - http://www.rsssf.dk/

Dear List Members,

As you know I am coming close to my relocation from Washington, D.C. to
Amsterdam, hence my updates of the rsssf.dk archive is irregular. I
apologize for that.

Tonight I have updated the archive with the matches in the Domestic
Championships the last two week-ends, and we have seen quite many
interesting results. But very few goals in Division One (Superligaen), in
fact.

Interestingly, the last round in Superligaen started off with 5 matches on
Sunday, all ending with away wins. That was a first for Superligaen since
its introduction in 1991, and even though Silkeborg IF and AaB drew last
night, it still was 5 out of 6 matches, which is relatively higher than the
previous record, 4 out of 5.

And, with the 2 rounds played in Superligaen, AaB has now played 55
consequtive matches without a penalty awarded, each week-end clocking up the
Superliga record.

Other snippets are that Lyngby FC's defeat to Vejle BK was it's 100th since
the introduction of the Superliga in 1991, and next time Silkeborg IF draws,
it will be the clubs 100th since 1991. And, Viborg FF's goal at OB marked
the 800th time since introduction of professional soccer in 1978 that an OB
goalkeeper (most of whom of course was Lars Høgh) had to pick up the ball
from the back of his goal.

Notably, two matches (out of 12) have been attended by more than 16,000
spectators each.

And, please note that round 22 (the round after next) will be round No. 300
since introduction of the "new" structure 10 seasons ago.

The next two week-end I will be travelling between D.C. and Amsterdam, so
please bear with me until I have settled down.

In addition, I will start discussions with Infostrada to secure continued
access to this archive after I have relocated. I suspect that Infostrada
will host the archive in the interim until we have sorted out a permanent
solution, which I hope that we will present to you in Summer.

Best regards,
Søren Elbech
