Statistik fra rsssf

Mandag d. 27. marts 2000

RSSSF Denmark - http://www.rsssf.dk/

Dear List Members,

Monday morning (EST) the relocation agency will pack our household effects,
hence this most likely is the last email from my home PC while living in the
USA. On Saturday, I will have completed my transfer to the Netherlands, and
I will catch up with the necessary updates.

In the meantime, I will of course be accessible via email at rsssf@rsssf.dk
or soren@elbech.com should you have any questions regarding soccer
statistics. You can also make a note of my future work email,
soren.elbech@infostradasports.com.

Enough with the housekeeping, let's talk soccer.

A flurry of goals yesterday in Superligaen. A total of 28 goals, 9 of which
in Vejle BK 2-7 FC København. I have been asked many times already, so for
the record, this is neither the highest victory, nor the highest away
victory in Superligaen. The highest victory was AaB 8-1 Viborg FF on August
5, 1995 and the highest away victory was Lyngby FC 1-7 Brøndby IF on July
27, 1997.

In addition, this is 2nd time that FC København wins 7-2 away! First time
was at Viborg FF on November 28, 1993.

FC København's Norwegian, Harald Brattbak, scored this Spring's 1st
hattrick, and Kenni Sommer (Esbjerg fB) did the (and his) 2nd.

Interesting, however, is the match in Division Two, BK Fremad Amager 1-1 B
93. In the 62nd minute, Fremad's Sammy Youssouf is sent off, and B 93 scores
subsequently to 0-1 on a penalty in the 71st minute. 8 minutes later,
Fremad's Stig Jensen is also sent off, but with 9 players against 11, Fremad
equalizes in injury time.

And, btw, this week-end saw the 1st round of the Spring-edition of
Kvalifikationsrækken, and as you know, there will be a change of status for
this Division at the end of the season, as Kvalifikationsrækken as of Autumn
2000 will be Division 5 rather than 4, and Danmarksserien becomes Division 4
rather than 5.

I know that I'm behind on updating the women's league, and that will follow
as soon as possible.
