Media accreditation for the FIFA Women's World Cup Germany 2011™ now open

FIFA is pleased to announce that the media accreditation process for media representatives wishing to cover the FIFA Women's World Cup Germany 2011™ (26 June - 17 July 2011) will take place via the FIFA Media Channel from 1 March until 1 May.

Approval to access the FIFA Media Channel does not mean you have been granted accreditation. The media accreditation process for any FIFA competition requires the completion of an accreditation form. If we are unable to accommodate you on this occasion, you will be informed by e-mail.

Media accreditation via the FIFA Media Channel is only for written press, photographers and media working for non-rights-holding broadcasters. Furthermore, please be advised that international applicants are responsible for their own visas.

There is a separate accreditation process for rights-holding radio and television broadcasters that is managed by FIFA Broadcaster Servicing. Please contact FIFABroadcasterServicing@fifa.org for information.

For full details of the FIFA Women's World Cup Germany 2011™, please visit our website: www.FIFA.com/germany2011.

Information on media ticketing and parking, as well as other media services, will be communicated in due course.
